To celebrate the launch of the new Band of Climbers ThermoAscent Jerseys, we took the day off with friends to ride some of the most scenic, and some of the steeper climbs in North Yorkshire. With a morning temperature of 0.5c and a max temperature of 4c, we put the new ThermoAscent jerseys to work...

Our route took in the classic south side of Buttertubs Pass and Tan Hill. Get the route which began in Richmond below.

For a great route which takes in the classic south side of Buttertubs Pass, Tan Hill (including lunch at the UK's highest pub) and a final leg breaker of a climb in Hardstilles, then check out this 95km route on Strava.

Quality shots and a quality Jersey (love mine) 5* on both accounts

Also a route that showcases some of the best climbs and roads Yorkshire has to offer, to finish with a cheeky climb up Hardstilles as well not a climb well known until you’ve ridden it and then it’s never forgotten for sure 😍⛰️
